Ready, Steady, Go: online events to put a spring in your step!

Wee Three Indies is back with a bang: virtual author events to tickle everyone's fancy and keep us all entertained in the next couple of months!

Ruth Thomas, The Snow and the Works on the Northern Line, Thursday 18 February, 7.30pm, FREE event
The author of The Home Corner is back with a darkly comic and offbeat novel about things lost and found, it is also a story about love, grief and forgiveness: letting go and moving on. The Snow and the Works on the Northern Line was recently serialised as Radio 4's Book of the Week, we can't wait to hear about Ruth's inspiration for this wonderfully unusual book.

To sign up for this free event, just email weethreeindies@gmail.com and we'll send you the link the day before the event.

Robbie Morrison, Edge of the Grave, Thursday 4 March, 7.30pm, FREE event
We all love a bit of Tartan Noir and Edge of the Grave pushes all the right buttons! Set in Glasgow in the 1930s, it has echoes of William McIlvanney's Laidlaw, Craig Russell's Lennox series and Peaky Blinders. Introducing Inspector Jimmy Dreghorn, this is a series we hope will grow and grow. Robbie Morrison will be in conversation with DV Bishop, author of the also excellent crime thriller, City of Vengeance!

To sign up for this free event, just email weethreeindies@gmail.com and we'll send you the link the day before the event.

Donald S Murray, In a Veil of Mist, Wednesday 10 March, 7.30pm FREE event
Donald S Murray has been writing about his native Hebrides for years, though this only his second novel, following the critically acclaimed As The Women Lay Dreaming. Drawing inspiration from another little known event in the area, Operation Cauldron in 1952, In a Veil of Mist is a haunting exploration of the costs and fallout of warmongering and the implications of germ warfare. Donald will be in conversation with fellow author Chris Dolan.
