The Further From Festival 2026 is taking place from Thursday 26th February until Sunday 1st March in St Peter's Church, Linlithgow, with events to suit every age, taste and palate!
Here’s the full line-up of authors:
Thursday 26th February, 7.00pm: Robin Ince returns with his blend of humour and razor-sharp observation
Friday 27th February, 7.30pm: Join Ghillie Basan for a very special evening of whisky tasting and sharing stories, three drams are included, plus a wee snack paired with each!
Saturday 28th February, from 10.00am:
*Jim Crumley and Leo du Feu will be telling us what it was like to create Symphonic together, plus discussing biscuits!
*Olga Wojtas is the author of the Miss Blaine’s Prefect series - the perfect slice of cosy crime with a lot of humour and a touch of time travelling thrown in!
*Allan Radcliffe has written two stunning novels set in Edinburgh - both The Old Haunts and Blurred Faces are critically acclaimed and deservedly so.
*Sue Lawrence is a festival favourite and we’ll be discussing her latest novel, Whispers in the Glen, set on the Scottish Homefront during the Second World War.
Sunday 1st March, 2.00pm: David MacPhail will be joining us for a laugh-out-loud family event to celebrate Where’s Dragon in his Castle - a historical search and find activity book. Suitable for all ages!
