Sunday Best
Wednesday 14th May, 7.00pm
St Peter’s Church
An evocative celebration of the seventh day in all its rich variety: from closed shops to roast dinners, bulky newspapers to the distant drone of lawnmowers. TV theme tunes cueing both bath-time and the looming dread of the week ahead…
Sunday Best offers nostalgia, people’s history and affectionate, absorbing writing to give us a book drenched in the scent of gravy and the faint sound of church bells.
Tickets £8, which includes refreshments and a discount on book sales.

When We Were Killers
Wednesday 21st May, 7.00pm
St Peter’s Church
Five friends. One deadly obsession.
This is dark academia set in the gilded surroundings of St Andrews University.
A place where privilege seems to count for everything, where those lucky enough to possess it may even get away with murder.
For fans of The Secret History, anyone interested in our older traditions and lore, and anyone with a soft spot for St Andrews When We Were Killers will be a winner!
Tickets £8, which includes refreshments and a discount on book sales.

An Afternoon with Ann Cleeves
Wednesday 8th October, 2.00pm
St Michael’s Parish Church
It’s the big one! Not only are we over the moon to be welcoming Ann Cleeves back to Linlithgow after 8 years, but she’s coming to talk about her latest book, The Killing Stones, which sees the return of Jimmy Perez! And this time he’s solving crime on Orkney!
I’m not sure much more needs to be said, other than book your place early: do not miss this!
Book & Ticket: £25
Ticket only: £8
