The Three Dads Walking, Tim Owen, Mike Palmer and Andy Airey, are starting their 2024 walk in Stirling, and they have kindly agreed to stop by the bookshop at 8.00AM on Thursday 18th April to sign some books!
It really will be a quick pitstop as they walk along the Union Canal, but if anyone wants to come along to the shop at 8.00AM to say hello and cheer them on, then please feel free to do so!
You can follow their progress live here
And you can donate to their nominated charity, Papyrus, which raises awareness around suicide prevention here:
We cannot wait to meet them and welcome them to Linlithgow.

Angela Harding is visiting Far From The Madding Crowd Bookshop! Angela is a world-renowned printmaker, artist and illustrator. Her work, inspired by the British countryside, was used on the front cover of The Salt Path, and more recently, she has collaborated with Isabella Tree to produce an illustrated edition of Wilding, and Blossomise with Simon Armitage.

We are so pleased that she’s making time on her next visit to Scotland to drop into the shop! Angela will be signing stock on Thursday 25th April in the morning, so if you happen to be in the area, please do drop in and say hello!

It's a Linlithgow Local Author Showcase!
Come along and meet some of the amazing authors that live and work right here in our town! This will be a relaxed evening event: a chance for each author to introduce themselves and their work, and then a chance to mingle, chat, discover new writing, and enjoy some cake & wine!
Will this be the night you discover your new favourite author who also happens to live in Linlithgow?! Join us for the chance to find out!
