IN CONVERSATION WITH CALLUM ROBERTSON: THE MAKING OF A CRAFTSMAN
TUESDAY 27TH AUGUST, 7PM
BONNYTOUN FARM, BY LINLITHGOW
Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Bonnytoun Farm as we discuss Ingrained with local woodworker and writer Callum Robertson. Ingrained is the making of a craftsman, but it's much more than that; it's a love letter to trees, timber and craftsmanship – and to finding your own voice.
Linlithgow residents may know Callum from his work creating beautiful and unique pieces at Method Studio - he and his wife Marisa (a designer and lecturer) also had the M74 furniture shop on the High Street for a few years.
Blending memoir and nature writing at its finest, Ingrained is an uplifting meditation on the challenges of working with your hands in our modern age, on community, consumerism, and the beauty of the natural world and we can't wait to talk to Callum about it!
''Original. Rare. As beautiful as trees... A masterpiece.''
