Join us as the three editors of the much-anticipated follow-up to the hugely popular Scottish Religious Poetry discuss this brand new anthology. Including work by some of Scotland’s best-known writers, including Mary Queen of Scots, Robert Burns, Robert Louis Stevenson, Edwin Muir, Muriel Spark, Edwin Morgan, Jackie Kay, and Kathleen Jamie, as well as newer voices such as Jen Hadfield, Alycia Pirmohamed, and Roseanne Watt, and Gaelic poets Sorley Maclean, Iain Crichton Smith and Niall O’Gallagher.
It also features work by much-missed John Burnside, his work representing the very best of modern Scottish poetry which grapples with religious themes and ideas.
Scottish Religious Poetry celebrates the range and breadth of Scottish poetry written from a variety of religious perspectives and this event will appeal to all lovers of Scottish literature.
